The KE Agency is a nanny agency serving Northern Virginia. Kara Abella founded the KE Agency after working as an Applied Behavior Analysis therapist and child care provider in Northern Virginia for over four years. Kara holds immense gratitude for her network of families, whom she works with on a regular part-time, or as-needed and flexible basis.
Kara has a strong passion for working with children, and is extremely grateful to have received a growing number of wonderful recommendations from her families. Shortly thereafter the amount of new inquiries became too high to maintain alone, and Kara felt the need to provide excellent child care to those looking for assistance. Out of that need the KE Agency was born. Kara maintains her own personal objective in building her team of child care providers. Therefore the KE Agency’s top priorities go beyond the need to keep children safe and happy– reaching further in striving to improve the lives of children by facilitating clear direction and guidance, that can be utilized easily, effectively, and at home.
The KE Agency specializes in working with children of all ages and capabilities. Each child care provider has a minimum of three years of experience working with children, a background caring for multiple children at once, CPR certification, and higher education degrees or certifications. The KE Agency strongly believes in continuing education and aspires for all child care providers to maintain any applicable and updated training when possible. The KE Agency’s child care providers have a combined amount of over 30 years of experience with Autism SpectrumDisorder– in classroom services, applied behavior analysis therapy, teaching, and yoga. In addition the KE Agency has a team of child care providers who offer skills in working with children who have severe allergies or dietary restrictions, asthma, cerebral palsy, down’s syndrome, pervasive developmental disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Bi-polar Disorder, seizures, epilepsy, movement disorders, vision impairment, feeding tubes, and various other conditions.
